      Here's how you get started...

• Contact  the MAPPS Center for more information about the MAPPS Program
  
  
• Choose a team (the team will implement the MAPPS Program) made up of:
    
                 Teachers
                 Administrators
                 Curriculum Specialists
                 Parent Involvement Specialists
  
  
• Obtain school and district "buy-in" by presenting an overview of the MAPPS Program to your implementation team and other administrators
  
  
• Arrange for the MAPPS Center to train facilitators in MAPPS activities
  
  
• Engage in community outreach for support or involvement
  
  
• Recruit parents to attend workshops and mini-courses
  
  

• Plan for MAPPS events
